What is the BIGGEST problem with today’s workforce?

A) 💰 Everyone wants top-dollar pay before developing top-dollar skills.

😎 📱 Work ethic has changed — too many people simply don’t want to work hard anymore.

C) 🏢 Employers are the problem — wages and benefits haven’t kept up with expectations.

D) 🛠️ We spent 20+ years telling kids they needed college and accidentally created a massive shortage of skilled tradesmen.

🚨 NATIONWIDE ZIP-R INSTALLATION CREW WANTED 🚨

Midwest Erecting & Fabrication is looking for an experienced installation crew to travel nationwide with us, job to job, installing ZIP-R sheathing on our custom steel structures.

ZIP-R has become a standard component of nearly every custom project we build. We specialize in large-scale, highly detailed luxury steel structures, including:

• Luxury Barndominiums
• High-end man caves
• Hunting lodges
• Flex spaces
• Custom residential & commercial steel structures

⚠️ THIS IS NOT A BASIC SHEATHING JOB

Our projects often involve extreme roof pitches and highly detailed roof systems. Applicants must have proven experience with:

• Hips & valleys
• Extreme roof pitches
• Complex roof layouts
• Rough opening (RO) cutouts for windows and doors
• Accurate layout and detailed ZIP-R installation
• Working safely at significant heights
• Proper fall protection systems and procedures

Experience is required. We are looking for a crew that can step onto a jobsite and confidently handle the challenges that come with complex custom steel construction.

WHAT WE EXPECT

Because we work with high-end clients, professionalism, appearance, cleanliness, craftsmanship and attention to detail are non-negotiable.

Applicants must have:

• Proven ZIP-R / exterior sheathing experience
• Extensive construction experience
• Ability to travel nationwide
• Experience working on steep and complex roofs
• Strong knowledge of fall protection and jobsite safety
• Clean background
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Ability to maintain production while delivering high-quality workmanship

W-2 OR SUBCONTRACTOR

We are willing to hire qualified crews as either W-2 employees or subcontractors.

Subcontractors must provide:

• $2,000,000 General Liability insurance
• Workers’ Compensation coverage for every employee
• Documentation verifying all required insurance coverage
• 5 references from previous clients, including previous job locations

WE COVER TRAVEL & LODGING

Travel and lodging expenses are paid in full.

You’ll be traveling with us across the country, working on some of the most unique and high-end custom steel structures being built nationwide.

If your crew takes pride in its work, understands quality construction, safety and attention to detail, and can handle challenging ZIP-R installations on complex steel structures, we want to hear from you.
