The quiet edge without a name or face.
These things the hurried feet dismiss,
Yet patient eyes are led to this.

Locals will pass the air harbor,
Or in from the west if travel from farther.
Some roads are plain, though few take heed,
And simple steps still serve the need.

The truth is not in noise alone,
Nor always where the light is shown.
At times it waits in plainest view,
For steady hearts to search it through.

So let your spirit settle first,
And do not chase with restless thirst.
The one who reads with care and grace
May find what waits in the quiet place.

🏞️ On Hassell Hunt, we hide an ingot in a local park and write a poem filled with clues. Whoever figures out the poem, finds the ingot, and brings it back to us first wins a 💵 $1,000 cash prize.
