This was a fun piece to work on, a beautiful treen money box book that apparently came from a church. It'd had a few bad repairs over the years and the veneer was coming loose. It's now good for another 100 years of use.

The business has been closed for the last few weeks due to a medical emergency, I'm now recovering well and will be starting work again.
I'll be in the workshop 10 - 4 Thursday and Friday this week if you'd like to drop anything in and will be opening limited hours for the next few weeks, so it's best to contact me if you want to drop in.

I've just completed these wardrobes for a client. They had to fit in an awkward alcove with a beam in it and couldn't have a sharp corner. All of the adjacent door stiles where cut from the same log so the figuring of the European oak matched. I also made a little cabinet to match to go over the staircase. I was very happy with the outcome.
