Here it is! My parents’ beautiful 1700s farmhouse makeover! ❤️
They never planned on doing such an extensive remodel, but after discovering some major structural issues, it became clear that we needed a new plan. Instead of simply putting everything back the way it was, we took the opportunity to completely rework the layout and create spaces that function so much better for them.
The biggest transformation was the kitchen, but we were also able to add a powder room and a dedicated laundry room—two things that were high on their wish list. It was important to keep the charm and character of this incredible old farmhouse while making it work for modern-day living.
This project was definitely a labor of love, and getting to design it for my parents made it even more special. ✨
