The modernization brought everything onto one clear plan, and gave the bath the calm, tailored character it deserved.

For this addition, the choice was to match the original house or challenge it.

We landed in between, pairing the existing fieldstone with light-toned brick and stucco in a more contemporary language.

Old and new read clearly, and each is stronger for the contrast.
