“Bloom for Mom” started as a collaboration with the horticulture students at Parrish Community High School, where students designed planters inspired by the women who mean the most to them using plants, colors, and textures to tell their stories with heart.

We were honored to bring the winning student design to life… and even more excited to share one with our community too. 🌸🪴

We’re so excited to announce the winning design of our Mother’s Day Planter Design Contest…

✨ This beautiful, story-filled planter with 74 votes! ✨

This design truly captured what this contest was all about - using plants to tell a meaningful story. From the cheerful lantana to the nurturing milkweed and vibrant lemon ball sedum, every detail reflected love, personality, and intention. 💛

We were blown away by the creativity and heart each student poured into their designs, but this one especially resonated with so many of you.

🌿 Next up: We’ll be bringing this winning planter to life so it can be gifted just in time for Mother’s Day.

Mother’s Day Planter Design Contest 🌸

Manatee Porch & Planter Co. has partnered with Parrish Community High School’s Horticulture students to create something really special. Each student designed a planter inspired by their mom (or someone meaningful in their life), choosing plants that reflect who she is and what she means to them.

We’ve been blown away by the thought, creativity, and care each student put into their design - it truly shows their plant knowledge and how much these special people mean to them.
