Cate's Contracting and Handyman Service I began working residential construction as a helper in my teens.

I took a break from construction while serving as a US Marine Infantryman and attending college before returning to construction as a Glazier. I then went on to work as an equipment operator for an excavation company, before eventually moving into commercial and Industrial carpentry in 2016. As an industrial carpenter I have worked in a variety of environments ranging from schools and hospitals to

coal and nuclear power stations. During this time I've performed work ranging from metal stud installation, scaffolding, concrete forming, composite foam paneling on EV Battery Plants for GM and Ford, and most recently Mass Timber Framing in Nashville. I am currently making the move back to residential work so that I can focus more on spending time with my family and our farm, rather than spending several hours a day commuting to and from the city.
