Meet the of the week Staff Sgt. Tyler Griffin

Staff sgt. Griffin was nominated as the Muleskinner of the week because he demonstrates outstanding leadership managing Class I, Class III, and Class IV, FRE yard and numerous other operations for the 329th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion. He also works as a contracting officer representative.

Where are you from?
Ogallala, Nebraska

What are your hobbies?
I enjoy woodworking projects, watching a project come to life from just a plan on a piece of paper.

What is you favorite activity to do while deployed and back home?
Spending time getting to know new people, playing poker at the USO and MWR. At home my favorite activity is spending time with my three year old twin daughters.

What are you most proud of and why?
I'm most proud of my wife because she has been a single mother of four girls while I have been deployed.

In your opinion, what is the most important Army value?
Integrity - because the 329th CSSB is all over the country and NCOs have to have integrity to do the right thing by their Soldiers and positions when no senior leaderships is present.

What are your future goals?
I want to serve at least 20 years in the Army. I also want to start building custom tables and then eventually expand into all types of custom woodworking projects.
