PART 2 of this story 🌱
Jeff shares that everything you see here, all the planting and landscaping, was thoughtfully added around the existing large trees that remained. Preserving what endured, and building new life around it.
One of the most unique features is the dry creek bed. It’s not just aesthetic, it’s functional. Designed to capture water on the property and allow it to slowly feed back into the groundwater.
Instead of water running off and being lost, it’s held, absorbed, and returned to the soil. This encourages plants to grow deeper roots, reaching for that natural water supply.
And that’s where the transformation really happens.
Because when the system is working together like this, the landscape can thrive with significantly less irrigation.
Jeff’s vision was simple but powerful. To create a space that feels like a mountain trail. Natural, grounded, and alive. A place where you don’t just see the landscape, you experience it.
This is what restoration can look like!
