Four Rivers Contracting has officially acquired Premier Floors — and this isn’t just an expansion… it’s a strategic move.

30+ years of proven flooring expertise is now under our umbrella, and we’re building something bigger from it.

We closed the deal and celebrated the right way — over lunch at Cydes in Rockville — locking in not just a transaction, but a transition into the next phase of growth.

This is more than adding a service line.
This is vertical integration.

Hardwood.
Refinishing.
Installation.
Now fully in-house.

And we’re not just taking it over — we’re learning it, refining it, and raising the standard from day one.

Even better — next generation is already in motion. My son is stepping in early, learning the craft firsthand as we build this out the right way.

Four Rivers Contracting is stepping into the flooring space — acquiring an established operation and doing it the right way from day one.

Right now, we’re in a sand and refinishing school, learning the process hands-on from the ground up.

Exterior is taking shape.
Interior is fully boarded, taped, and built out.
Layouts are locked in.
Lines are clean.
Now we push into sanding, finish work, and final phases.

This is where projects are won or lost.

Anyone can hang drywall.
Not everyone keeps lines tight, transitions clean, and trades moving without stepping on each other.
