At this point, when judges see me walk into the courtroom and smile, I can’t tell if they’re happy to see me or just thinking, “Great… Quality Control is here again. 😂⚖️📋

Before you get serious with somebody, do yourself a favor and take a little field trip to the courthouse. 😂

Type their name into the public computer and read the nonsense that’s been filed involving the exes.

You might walk in thinking, “OMG, I really like him 🥰”

…and walk out like, “Actually, I have errands.” 😭💀

Dating in 2026 requires more than chemistry.

I need references, court records, and a brief investigation.

You’re welcome. 😂⚖️

Dear Julian,

I don’t think you’ll ever understand what this picture does to my heart.

You were only six months old here. Look at that smile. You had no idea what life was yet. You didn’t know heartbreak, disappointment, complicated grown-up things, or how quickly sixteen years would pass.

You just knew you were safe in your mama’s arms.

And I wish I could go back for five minutes.

Not to change anything.
Just to hold that little boy one more time.

When I gave birth to you, I almost died. I remember how close I came to not getting the chance to watch you grow up. And yet somehow, God let me stay.

For sixteen years, I have gotten to watch those tiny hands get bigger. I watched you learn to walk, listened to your little voice change, watched your personality come alive, watched you become independent, and eventually realized that the little boy who once needed me for absolutely everything was becoming a young man.

Then came 2025, and my heart learned a completely different kind of pain.

There were days when missing you felt impossible to carry. I would think about all the ordinary things I once took for granted—hearing you in the house, talking to you, knowing you were close—and I would have given anything just to have another ordinary day with my son.

I almost died bringing you into this world.

And fifteen years later, there were moments when my heart felt like it was dying because I couldn’t imagine my world without you in it.

But Julian, love kept me standing.

My love for you reminded me that being your mother isn’t only about being there for the easy chapters. It’s loving you through every chapter, even the ones that hurt.

And now you’re 16.

Soon you’ll drive away without needing me in the passenger seat. You’ll graduate. You’ll build a life that’s yours. Someday you’ll have a home where I don’t know what’s in every drawer. 😂 Maybe you’ll fall in love. Maybe one day you’ll hold your own baby, and only then will you begin to understand why your mom loved you this fiercely.

And when that day comes, I hope you look at this picture.

Look at my face.

That woman was already completely in love with you.

Before the accomplishments.
Before the mistakes.
Before the hard years.
Before you became the young man you are today.

There was never anything you had to do to earn it.

You were simply mine, and I loved you.

So on your 16th birthday, I don’t wish for you to be rich, perfect, or impressive.

I pray that you are happy.

I pray life is gentle with your heart. I pray you always know when to walk away from things that steal your peace. I pray you laugh loudly, love deeply, forgive yourself when you mess up, and never shrink who you are to make someone else comfortable.

And when life gets heavy, I hope somewhere inside that sixteen-year-old heart you can still remember what this six-month-old baby knew without anyone having to tell him:

Mom is here.
Mom loves me.
I can always come home.

Julian, if someday I’m no longer here and you find this picture, I don’t want you to remember the hardest chapters.

Remember this.

Remember that you were the happiest little baby.

Remember how proud I was to call you my son.

Remember that out of every title I’ve ever had and everything I ever accomplished, being your mom was the greatest privilege of my life.

I almost didn’t get these sixteen years.

That’s why I will never take a single one of them for granted.

Happy 16th birthday, my baby. 💙

Yesterday you fit in my arms.

Today you’re becoming a man.

And somehow, for the rest of my life, I’ll still look at you and see this little face smiling back at me.

I love you beyond this lifetime, Julian.

Thank you for giving me sixteen years of being your mom.
If I had to live this entire life again just to find you at the beginning of it, I would. Every single time. ❤️

The funniest plot twist of my advocacy journey has been the SECURITY GUARDS. 🤣

I show up to the Commissioners meeting and now it’s basically:

“Here comes trouble.” 😭😂

Meanwhile, we’ve actually become real friends.

But somehow I went from showing up to speak at public meetings to influencing major financial decisions in these men’s lives. 💀

I started talking about Teslas…

ONE bought one.

Then ANOTHER bought one.

TWO TESLAS IN LESS THAN A MONTH. 😭🤣

And now they’re telling me how much they love them.

Perfect. My work here is not finished. 😂

Because I am currently campaigning for the next completely unnecessary but extremely important government-building development:

🎀 PINK. TESLA. WRAPS. 🎀

They’re resisting.

For now. 😂

Give me another month.

I came into these meetings trying to change the system and apparently I’m changing the parking lot too. 💅🏼🤣

At this point when they say, “Here comes trouble,” they’re not worried about the meeting…

They’re worried about what I’m going to convince them to buy next. 😂😂😂

This smile is exactly why I will never stop speaking up. 💙

You can call me difficult. You can criticize me for questioning the system. You can sit behind a bench and make decisions that profoundly affect a mother and her child.

But you cannot erase this smile.

Before my son sees me, he’s sitting there minding his business. Then he sees his mom and his entire face changes. 🥹 That is a bond no court order can manufacture and no title can define.

That is why I continue questioning what I believe have been serious failures in Judge Norma Rodriguez’s handling of my family’s case. When judges make decisions affecting children, competence, evidence, due process, and impartiality matter.

My son is not a case number. He is a human being. And behind every family court order is a child who lives with its consequences.

Look at his smile. Then tell me why protecting the parent child bond shouldn’t matter.

Accountability isn’t disrespect for the judiciary.
Accountability is what the judiciary owes the families it serves. ⚖️💙

As a boy mom, it’s so important to me that my son knows just how loved he is. 🥰 Every single time I see him, I call him handsome and no matter how old he gets, watching his face light up will never get old. ❤️

I want him to grow up knowing he is loved, valued, and worthy of hearing the good things about himself out loud. 💙
