Watters Architecture was founded by Leah Watters as a response to a passion for helping clients navigate the often challenging design and construction process. Watters Architecture has built a reputation on understanding our clients' vision and desires and working together to bring these ideas to life. We understand that not all lifestyles conform to generic plans, and not all projects are served
by generic solutions. Watters Architecture has experience in a variety of project types and has built a reputation for serving its clients in many capacities. We understand that for some projects an idea or a sketch is all the client needs or wants to get a project moving. For others, however, a more in-depth design process is required and a full package of construction documents is appropriate to ensure the best possible outcome. Our firm has extensive experience with residential and commercial projects including both renovations and new construction. These range from small remodels encompassing less than 500 sf. additions and porches, to 3,000+ sf new homes and commercial spaces. In many instances we have provided schematic design, planning, and permit drawings for local establishments to help them get off the ground and begin serving customers. On the Gulf Coast, a competent professional is critical to navigate the most up-to-date building codes and regulations. Watters Architecture has a long history of success designing buildings in the flood plain and in high-wind zones. These building require special attention to detail both in the design and construction process. We are here to represent our clients through to completion and ensure that each project is built as it is designed and is designed to last. At Watters Architecture we believe in remaining accessible to our clients. Fees for commercial projects typically average 10% of construction cost with engineering included, while residential home design can often be done for less than the cost of your kitchen appliances.
