Luke’s plumbing will be out on medical leave until mid August starting tomorrow July 15th. We have tried to get back to everyone and rearrange things or redirect if necessary but if you did not hear back from us and are still waiting please please give us a call or text today so we can do that. We appreciate all of the patience and once again thank you to all of our loyal customers! See you all soon!

So about three weeks ago, we had a big “uhoh” waking up to water coming from under our floors…

A pipe had burst in our slab. Lots of panic, waiting while worrying about mold growth and dehumidifiers later, my studio is completely packed up and currently sitting in my daughter’s room. We got really lucky with how little was damaged; originally we thought we would have to move out while flooring and sheet rock were replaced in several areas. Only the “back” of our home was damaged.

But while I wait on our new floors, I decided to give her a new look and I honestly already feel refreshed about going back to work in there.

Can’t wait until the floors are complete so I can move back in with my new desk and workspace.

Until then, I work on the floor or at the dining table. 🙃

Fun fact: before this room became my studio, it was a sewing room for a seamstress who fixed anything from wedding dresses to blue jeans (including my own.)
