In honor of the day, here are some fun water and rain facts about Arizona you might not know:

🌧️ Arizona actually has two rainy seasons.
One comes in the winter from Pacific storms, and the other is our famous summer monsoon season.

🌵 Most of Arizona only gets about 10–15 inches of rain per year.
That’s why water conservation and rainwater harvesting can make a huge difference for homes and properties here.

⚡ Monsoon storms can drop a LOT of rain fast.
In a single storm, some areas can get an inch or more in less than an hour, which is perfect for rainwater collection systems.

🏜️ Arizona is one of the best states for rainwater harvesting.
Because storms come in bursts, properly designed systems can collect hundreds to thousands of gallons of water each year.

💧 A 1,500 sq ft roof can collect around 900 gallons of water from just ONE inch of rain.
