Reliable transit creates stronger connections between people, places and opportunities.

Pond was honored to join County leaders, community members, and project partners to celebrate the ribbon cutting for Henry County, Georgia's new local bus service.

The new service introduces a fixed bus route that gives residents a dependable transportation option with scheduled stops and service between the two largest cities, McDonough and Stockbridge, as well as Piedmont Henry Hospital. Whether traveling to work, school, medical appointments or other essential destinations, the route expands mobility and provides another way for people to stay connected to the communities they live in, work, and visit.

Launching a new transit service requires careful planning, coordination and community engagement. Pond was proud to support implementation efforts that helped transform years of planning into a transportation option that residents can begin using today.

Congratulations to Henry County on this investment in the community. Pond is proud to support transportation solutions that improve accessibility, strengthen connectivity, and help communities grow.

How do you demonstrate the value of a program whose success is often measured by incidents that never happen?

That question is at the heart of a recently published article in Applied Biosafety, co-authored by Pond's Director of Science & Technology, Rachel Gamble. The paper examines how biosafety programs can better capture and communicate their activities, outcomes, and organizational value through a simplified public health logic model.

This research explores how organizations can better quantify and communicate the activities that drive prevention, compliance, and safer environments. Congratulations to Rachel and her fellow authors on this important contribution to the field.

Facility-Related Control Systems (FRCS) support the critical infrastructure that keeps federal facilities operating safely, encompassing everything from building automation and energy management to fire and life safety systems. Because these systems directly impact mission-critical operations, they have become attractive targets for hackers and sophisticated threat actors seeking to cause real-world disruption.

In response, CISA and other federal agencies have recently published Zero Trust guidance to help organizations strengthen their operational technology environments.
