By now you likely know arctic air is on the table for late next week as we enter Christmas weekend.

I'm reasonably confident the cold air is coming, but just how cold and whether or not we get wintry precipitation are still in question.

I've posted for you here the low temperatures for next week projected by our two best computer models, the American GFS and the European ECMWF. The American model is the colder solution at this time.

In case you're wondering, ahead of the February 2021 winter storm both of these models were significantly colder than they are depicting now. Interestingly enough, there was even a time when they backed off that the arctic chill would even make it here! Eventually they came to their senses and the rest is history.

My point in sharing this is that even our best computer models will struggle with how to handle the cold air in the days ahead, and our job as meteorologists is to figure out what projections they offer up are actually useful to give you the most accurate prediction.

An Update to our Clients/ Important Info Regarding Scheduling:

As you may know, we started this business at the beginning of all the covid craziness. With our combined skills and knowledge, we started a business out of necessity to keep us afloat. As it normally goes, starting a business is a leap of faith. A year and some change later, we have been booming. We cannot thank our supporters and customers enough. If you have booked us, recommend us, talked about us, shared/liked our post, we owe it to you!
But we knew when we started, we had bigger goals. This was just a step for us. Mark has accepted a job at a well known company. We are excited about his position, and all the greater opportunities that may come. Ashley is now a full time student, and working towards her goals.
➡️ So with all that said, this is NOT goodbye. The way we pick up clients/schedule will look a little different. We will no longer be “full time”. We will accept clients on a case by case basis. In some cases we may be able to provide you with a referral. If we choose to take on your project, hours will be discussed upon booking appointments. Please note: these hours may look like: afterwork day hours (after five pm), weekend hours. Hours will vary but will be discussed. ⬅️
