📍 Recently Completed Projects in Marshfield, MA 🚜🌱
We’ve been busy helping homeowners solve problems and improve their properties, and we wanted to share two projects we recently wrapped up in Marshfield.
Project #1 – Driveway & Slope Restoration
This property had an old failing retaining wall and rotted timber edging that had reached the end of its life. We removed the deteriorated materials, installed new timber edging where needed, regraded the slope down to the driveway elevation, and eliminated the need for excessive edging materials. To finish it off, we added fresh seashells to the driveway, giving the property a clean and classic coastal look.
Project #2 – Backyard Drainage Correction & Lawn Expansion
A previous contractor had completed a backyard expansion, but unfortunately the yard was graded toward the house, creating a flooding issue in the homeowner’s basement. With very limited elevation to work with, we designed a solution that saved the homeowner thousands of dollars.
Instead of installing an expensive sub-drain system, we carefully regraded the yard, created a swale, and established a 1% grade around and away from the home to properly direct water runoff. We then leveled the remaining yard area, spread loam, and completed the project with hydroseed to give the homeowner a healthy lawn for years to come.
