We lost a 4 foot roll of weedmat out of the trailer this morning in West Point. If anyone happens to see that could they drop it off at Brenn’s house that would be much appreciated.

Huge flagstone going in. Each of these are anywhere from 100-250 pounds. Need big pieces to give this path the look we were going for. Loved the end result!

Wanda was the sole force that got us doing what we do. Still trying to get to her level of drive!

Today we celebrate Wanda Kelly, this year's recipient of the PlantNebraska Ron Yoder Service Award, and Bob Gittins, recipient of the PlantNebraska President's Citation.

Wanda Kelly was a powerhouse leader and fundraiser during her tenure as PlantNebraska board president. Described by her peers as "fierce, generous and kind," she led by example and was a driving force in transforming her own hometown of Pender into a tree and garden-focused community.

Bob Gittins is the founder and current board president of the non-profit organization Nebraska Monarchs, where for the past 10 years he has spearheaded the movement to make native pollinator habitats more accessible and appealing to the public through native plant giveaways, free seed programs and landscape restoration events.

We thank Wanda and Bob for their leadership, commitment and hard work!

Some before and afters!
Man, did this project take a while. All the July rains kept turning this into a mud bowl. But what a blessing the rains have been! So happy with how this project turned out and so are the residents! It’s fun to have them poke their heads out to say hi and be excited about the progress each day.
