It's amazing how quickly a timberframe goes together, and it doesn't take a big crew. Monday and Tuesday we were working with a team of four. I've been designing and building timberframe homes for 22 years, and it never gets old seeing a frame become a house, and the house become a home.

The world keeps changing, but some techniques remain the same over hundreds of years. Timberpeg frames are cut in the shop, but there's usually some refinement required at the jobsite so that the joinery is perfect. Shown in the picture is Clark, getting it just right.
