Do You Have a Wood Burning Fireplace?
If you do, you should have it inspected annually, otherwise you could be in danger.
We recently completed a project where the fireplace started the interior of the chimney on fire and could have be a total loss of the home and possibly loss of life. Luckily the homeowner was quick to call the fire department who were also quick to respond.
The entire chimney chase, interior fireplace facade and framing, roof trusses, flooring and some electrical needed to be replaced. The client chose to convert to a dual electric fireplace. We think it turned out amazing!
