Pensacola, starting January 5th, the Reimagine Palafox project begins.
For the next several months, the City will be transforming Palafox Street with new sidewalks, fresh pavement, and a cleaner, more walkable design.
A temporary fence will run down the street during construction, but every business on Palafox will STILL be open and accessible to pedestrians.
And that’s the important part.
This project is exciting for the future, but the next few months may be tough on the shops, restaurants, bars, and small businesses that make Palafox special.
Please continue to shop, eat, drink, stroll, explore, and support Palafox.
Grab your coffee from a local café. Treat yourself to dinner downtown. Stop into a boutique. Have a drink with friends. Every visit truly matters.
This street is the heart of downtown Pensacola and the people who work here rely on our community showing up.
