Hi everyone!! We've been very busy, and I will have some great before and after pictures very soon. But I thought you would enjoy a gentle moment. While removing a Palm Tree, we came across a nest of squirrels. Our big tough men, gently removed them and made sure they were put under the care of kind rescuers.

Please let us gently handle all of your landscaping needs!

Using mulch is a good gardening habit but not mandatory; the benefits, however, make it worth the effort. A really good job of mulching your garden usually offers these benefits:

Inhibits w**d germination and growth. (Weeds are not only unsightly, but they also steal resources from desirable garden plants!)

Holds in soil moisture, protecting your plants from drying out quickly

Moderates soil-temperature fluctuations (This benefit is especially valuable during that turbulent-weather period in spring when you don’t want your plants to be stressed.)

In cold-winter areas, protects plant roots from winter cold and helps prevent frost-heaving, in which plants are literally pushed out of the ground by the natural expansion and contraction of the soil as it cools off and heats up

In hot-summer areas, helps keep plant roots cooler

Depending on what you use, adds a bit of welcome nutrition to your garden as it breaks down

The “right” or “best” mulch to use depends on your climate, the part of the country you’re in, and the part of the yard you’re using it in.

Let us spread the right mulch for your yard!

Over-watering is one of the biggest causes of an unhealthy lawn!

Pensacola has a warm and temperate environment, which supports the growth of warm-season grasses during the spring, summer and fall months. Warm-season grasses are sensitive to adverse environmental conditions, including improper irrigation and mowing. Proper management of your Florida panhandle lawn involves careful monitoring of the turf's condition and regular maintenance.

Watering

Water your lawn only when the grass shows visible signs of drought. Visible signs of under-watering and stress include folding leaf blades, gray-blue coloration or footprints that remain visible for several days after being made. Regular, heavy watering can lead to topsoil saturation, which weakens the grass's root systems and leaves the lawn vulnerable to w**ds, diseases and pests.

Let us help you to have an attractive and healthy yard, which will help us to continue recreating live,... one yard at a time!

Good morning!

Just a reminder; what you do to your yard now, has a lot to do with how much maintenance will be required throughout the Summer. Let us do your Spring clean-up, and then maintain it throughout the year.

Remember.... Pathways for Change...Everything Outdoors... is actually in the business of recreating lives, one yard at a time.

Please help us do that.

Thank you,

Good morning!

A common misconception, is that leaving your cut grass on your yard is bad for the grass. This is not correct; actually the cut grass is a great nutrient for a healthy yard. Of course heavy leaf cover and other debris should be removed regularly, since they can lead to thatching which can begin to choke-off your lawn.

Let us help you to maintain a healthy yard.
