Our affordable home design on Spring St is quickly making tangible progress!
This house is one of the three homes being built in a partnership with City of Pensacola - Government, Home Builders Association of West Florida, and Pensacola Habitat for Humanity to provide affordable/attainable/workforce housing in Pensacola.
This particular project, built by Pars Co, LLC, makes use of SCIP (Structural Concrete Insulated Panel) construction for the exterior walls. The home will provide superior insulation performance while also providing a much more resilient building in a wind storm event. Concrewall is the manufacturer of the SCIP wall system on this build. We've been eager to be a part of a project using this technology for going on ten years, and have come close more than once. We're thankful to finally see one going up.
If you're looking to build your next home with the FL elements in mind, give us a call and let's talk about how different construction technologies can help you achieve your goals. In the meantime, swing by this exciting project located just south of the downtown library to check out the progress. Concrete placement on the exterior walls should be taking place in the coming days.
