At Gulf States Automation, safety is part of every installation, service call, controls upgrade, and commissioning effort. Our goal is simple: deliver quality work, protect our team, and make sure every employee goes home healthy.

This National Safety Month, we would like to give a special shoutout to our Operations Manager, Henry Hiebert, who helps keep safety front and center by regularly sharing safety tips and encouraging healthy workplace habits for our team.

Henry’s reminders cover a wide range of important topics, from proper use of safety harnesses and other gear to the importance of equipment grounding conductors to preventing heat exhaustion and heat stroke by staying properly hydrated.

Thank you, Henry, for your continued leadership and commitment to helping keep our team safe every day.

Safety is not just a policy. It is part of our culture.

Thank you to Luke Wise and Josh Zajac for representing GSA on the links supporting the annual Northwest Florida ASHRAE Golf Tournament!

Congratulations to Luke and his third-place team: Russ Brock with Engineered Cooling Services, Dave Wheeler, formerly with Emerald Coast Utility Authority, and Joel Write of Sacred Heart.

GSA was proud to participate as an Eagle Sponsor and honored to help keep everyone refreshed at our tee box watering hole. It was a great opportunity to support ASHRAE and enjoy a day with friends across the HVAC and building automation community.

Today, we will reflect on the courage and dedication of those who gave their lives to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day. We are grateful to service members, veterans, and their families. Your sacrifice and commitment will not be forgotten.

The GSA team had a fantastic time at the 2026 Automated Logic Dealer Meeting - Innovation Island - in beautiful Puerto Rico 🌴

From meetings and breakout sessions to time spent connecting with other dealers, it was a week full of learning, connecting, and a lot of fun.

One thing that stood out was the continued product innovation which Automated Logic is known for. Just when you think it cannot get any better, the new updates continue to raise the bar. We can’t wait to share with our customers!

We are super proud to share that Gulf States Automation was nominated for Project of the Year in partnership with Radius Systems for our work at the JM Smucker’s Uncrustables facility in McCalla, AL. Think of us the next time you drop one of those little sandwiches in a lunchbox! 😋

Big congratulations to Luke Wise for being selected to join the Dealer Council, a group that helps represent dealers and strengthen communication across the network. Well deserved! 👏👏

✨Great first full day at the ASPMA Conference✨

We have been spending time with facility managers, the ones who are truly the heartbeat of these buildings…the people taking the calls and keeping things running no matter what.

What we’re hearing from maintenance staff and managers is that HVAC service calls can be a big issue. That is where we can help. With the right building automation system in place, you can catch issues early and stay ahead of problems before those calls ever come in.

If you are at the conference, come by and see us. We would love to meet you and discuss how we can help solve any issues you are experiencing.
