--- DUTIES ---
You will be assigned a territory and given the responsibility to service our customers' lawns on a regular basis. You will be fully trained to mix and apply pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides through sprays, dusts, vapors, soil incorporation, or chemical application on trees, shrubs, lawns, or botanical crops as well as identify and manage various problems with our customers' turf; which requires specific training and State/Federal certification that is paid by WFL.

--- JOB REQUIREMENTS ---
Prior experience in the industry is preferred, but not necessary.
»» You must be:
• drug-free
• self-motivated
• able to work outdoors
• able to work independently
• able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds for short periods of time
AND
• Have a valid Florida or Alabama driver's license with a good driving record

We lost not only an employee, but a dear WFL family member of 16 years last Thursday. David's primary duty from November of 2005 to October of 2020 was as Landscape Maintenance Manager at one of our largest clients, Gulf Power. Since leaving Gulf Power, he's worked as one of our Lawn Care Spray Technicians servicing client's lawns. David always had a positive attitude, smile on his face, rarely (if ever) called in sick, he was dependable, reliable, loyal, and an overall exemplary employee. David will be deeply missed by all of us here at WFL.
Our office will be closed Wednesday June 30th to pay respects to David and his family.

David Douglas Manz, 50, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021. David was born on March 6, 1971 in Orange, CA and graduated from Woodham High School in Pensacola, FL in 1989. He was a Lawn Care Specialist with West Florida Turf Services. David spent many years keeping the grounds

You will be fully trained to identify, treat, and manage various problems within a client's’ turf. We are looking for a dependable and professional oriented person who will represent WFL Turf Services, Inc. well. Are you the person we are looking for? If so, we want to hear from you!

Prior experience in the industry is preferred, but not necessary. Prospective employees must be able to work outdoors on a daily basis, lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. for short periods of time, work independently, and be self motivated.

WFL Turf Services, Inc. has been in the lawn care industry for over 30 years and has a great reputation within the community. This position offers competitive pay and benefits upon completion of the 90-day probation period. You must be 18 years or older , drug-free , and have a valid (not expired or suspended) driver’s license with a good driving record .
