Everything you do has an effect on someone else.
Sometimes people don’t realize that their actions—or their lack of effort—can affect far more than just themselves.
When you don’t take pride in your work, don’t care about the details, or choose to do the bare minimum, you may think it only reflects on you. But it doesn’t. It can affect the people around you, the reputation of the company you represent, and even the opportunities available to someone else.
That’s why accountability matters.
Do your job like your name is attached to it—because it is.
There are people working hard every day to build something great, create opportunities, and maintain a reputation for excellence. Don’t be the reason someone else has to pay for a lack of effort that wasn’t theirs.
Take pride in what you do. Care about the outcome. Hold yourself to a higher standard.
Because one person’s lack of care can create consequences for many people who did nothing wrong.
And when you surround yourself with people who understand that, everybody gets better.
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” — Colossians 3:23
Do it right. Do it with purpose. Your actions matter. 💯🙏
