APS has some helpful tips for keeping your house warmer this winter. Some of them are the same tips as you would use during the summer!

Open your draperies during the day for free solar heat and close them when the sun goes down to help insulate and keep the heat in. Turn your ceiling fans on but reverse the rotation from where you use them in the summer. This pushes the heat down and cold air up.

Check out more tips here --> http://www.aps.com/en/residential/savemoneyandenergy/coolingheating/Pages/heating.aspx

Set your ceiling fan at a low speed to move warm air around the room. It will spread the heat more evenly and increase your comfort level without creating a chilly breeze.
