🎉70 Years of Hammers Construction🎉

What a celebration! Yesterday, Hammers Construction hosted our 70th Anniversary Party, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who came out to celebrate with us. We had roughly 400 people attend, and it was an amazing day filled with fun, food, drinks, laughter, games, music, and plenty of memories.

We gave away over 100 door prizes along with multiple Grand Prizes – a huge THANK YOU to all of the businesses and individuals who donated prizes and to everyone who helped make this event such a success. Your generosity means so much to us!

🍕 Wood Fire Pizza and Catering who kept everyone fed with delicious pizza and cookies.
🎶 The incredibly talented Rachael Ianiro who provided live music throughout the event.
🏰 The kids had a blast in the bounce house.
🎲 Our dice game brought plenty of excitement as everyone tried their luck at willing some door prizes. Co****le, Hammerschlagen, and the dunk tank kept the competition going.

As anticipated, our dunk tank was a big hit! We charged for the opportunity to take a turn dunking our project managers, and while some definitely got a little more action than others, it was all for a great cause! 💦 Together, we raised $435 through our dunk tank and our QR code donations to be donated to the new Matt's Field Grandstand project.

Fun was definitely had by all, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate 70 years of Hammers Construction.

Thank you to everyone who came out, supported us, donated, played games, got dunked (or did the dunking!), and helped us celebrate this incredible milestone.

Here’s to 70 years of building, community, and relationships – and to many more years to come!

Our annual Hammers Fishing Tournament was another huge success this year. Each team was allowed to keep 5 bass, and unbelievably, we ended up with a tie for 1st place . Team Butzin and Team Neuerburg both finished with an impressive total of 19.4 lbs. The largest bass of the day was 5.5 lbs caught by Martin Braaten. Team Conkle, last year’s defending champ and the heavy favorite to win again, came in a respectable 3rd place.

A huge thank you to all 9 teams that participated and helped make the tournament such a great time. And a special thanks to Hilltop Lumber for helping out with the prizes.

A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to recommend local musicians! We're excited to announce that Rachael Ianiro will be performing at our 70th Anniversary party in August. We can't wait to celebrate this milestone with our community!

We partnered with Roots and Wings Forest School to design a new building that reflects their unique mission, values, and connection to the outdoors. As part of the design process, we created several drawings that were recently shared with the community. As the renderings below show, the building was thoughtfully designed to nestle into its wooded surroundings, creating a space where students and staff can learn, grow, and stay connected to the natural environment every day.

Rising up out of the pines on a lake near Park Rapids, is a new two-story timber frame structure. Built by a talented crew of our carpenters for a valued repeat client of ours. While the majority of our projects are steel, the guys are really enjoying building this timber frame in the spring sunshine.

Gloves on. Bags in hand. For Earth Week, we cleaned ditches from our front door to Hwy 10. Just doing our part to keep our community clean, proud, and looking its best. Happy Earth Day!
