Time for everyone to see how important it is to have a licensed electrician check your service if it's older. This was a new customer that had a VERY DANGEROUS FIRE HAZARD! The bus bar on the duel meter setup broke an was arcing and causing arc flash an extreme heat from the damage. All started with lights flickering. But B.E.C. came to the rescue an put the owners at ease, I went an made it safe till I was able to install the new service today. Here are some pics. Thank you for being such great customers, glad we were able to put your minds at ease.

It's that time of year when everyone is making changes to their homes. Here is another job where the customer wanted an updated chandelier to replace the 30 year old original chandelier.

Wanna see what B.E.C. has been up to lately... investors and property owners this is for you. So this building that was separated into 3 apts and basement washer/dryer. All of which is being powered by one 200 amp service and one 200a panel. So we did a survey of the building and checked each light, outlet, and switch and locations and marked on line drawings of the apts. I separated the three apts so now none of them share any circuits and are now up to code. I'm now swapping the 200a service to a 400a quadplex meter box, which has one meter for each apt and the last is what the owner pays. I'm about 60% finished on Phase 3 the service and 4 panels.
