Some projects are bigger than the building itself.

Starting in 2024, when Penitentiary Glen Reservation needed to help protect their rescued birds from Avian Flu exposure risks, they trusted us to help improve the outdoor enclosures. It was a multi-phased approach.

This season, we're completing the final phase of that work.

Originally, all their cages had flat roofs covered with corrugated fiberglass allowing rainwater and droppings from potentially infected wild birds to pool and left the resident birds vulnerable to infection.

We are replacing all the roofs with slanted, smooth surfaces to allow for run-off.

What stands out to me isn't the roofs.

It's the trust. Pentitentiary Glen partnered with us for every phase of their project including building their new veterinary clinic.

Whether we're building improvements for a public wildlife facility, a backyard structure for a homeowner, or a specialized space like a veterinary clinic, the responsibility is the same.

Understand the goal.

Pay attention to the details.

We worked with this Euclid homeowner to build their heated garage because they are done dealing with brutal Ohio winters AND they need a "staging area" for their gardens. They got a multi-car space with heat, a storage loft to keep everything organized, and even a potting with utility sink!

Now they pull in, stay warm, and those frozen mornings are history. Cars stay protected, tools stay accessible, gardening - and life - just got a whole lot easier.
