These wooden stocking name tags were such a fun little project that was requested as a custom order, but I just had to make them for my kids’ stockings, too — simple, timeless, and full of meaning. I love how they instantly make each stocking feel personal and intentional.

🪑✨ Shop update!
Ryan’s giving a little sneak peek into his next chair project, and this one is going to be something special. We’re starting with a solid walnut slab and letting the wood lead the way from there.

Projects like this are one of our favorite parts of woodworking—slowing down, paying attention to the grain, and creating something that will last for generations. Can’t wait to see this one come to life in the shop!

It’s the last big push before our Winter’s Wonders market this weekend, and let me tell you… your girl is living on Christmas spirit and local coffee. 😂❤️

Huge thanks to our local shops who keep makers like me going! ✨ Custom Basketball Puzzle for Coach Davis + Maconaquah Lady Braves 🏀💙

When Coach Ray Davis reached out about his idea to create a custom basketball puzzle for the Maconaquah Girls Basketball team, I had no idea I was stepping into a 40-year legacy story.

Coach Davis shared that early in his coaching career, he once received a similar puzzle piece from the head coach he worked under—each piece representing a player, each name part of the whole. That moment stuck with him… and now, all these years later, he wanted to recreate that same meaningful gift for his own team. 🧩✨

Every piece of this puzzle carries a name—every athlete, every coach—coming together to form one team, one season, one story they’ll remember forever. What an impact. What a legacy.

As a Maconaquah alum, being trusted with this project meant so much to me. And truly… Coach Davis was incredibly kind, easy to work with, and just a joy all around. Coach, thank you for letting us play a small part in something so meaningful. 💛

✨ Shop ASMR ✨
This one was extra special to make! My daughter had a specific gift in mind for her friend’s birthday — a custom name sign she could paint and build herself. 💕

So, we designed this little floral name sign together, and I cut all the tiny pieces before packaging it up as a DIY paint kit. It turned out so sweet, and it made the most thoughtful, creative gift. 🌸

We are all about building a legacy here, and it starts in the shop. We have a multiple table order for a restaurant, and so Ryan was showing our son how to mark and drill the holes for the table top glue ups.
