At this meeting, we’ll be talking about:

If you’ve ever been interested in prescribed fire but felt a little unsure or intimidated… you’re not alone.

That’s exactly why this group exists.

🔥 Our goal is to take the intimidation out of burning by working together — learning, training, and helping each other safely improve our land.

We’re excited to announce the formation of the Illinois Valley Prescribed Burn Association (IVPBA), a new local non-profit focused on habitat restoration, land stewardship, and the safe use of prescribed fire.

Join us for our kickoff informational meeting on January 14 from 5–7 PM at Eiten Ag (6131 Plank Road, Peru, IL). This is an open meeting for anyone interested in learning more — no experience required and no obligation to join.

Come learn, ask questions, and connect with fellow landowners and conservation-minded folks. We hope to see you there!
