The ceiling in the "gas station" wing of The Barn is complete, with a little help from Cahoon Precision Builders.
Over 1 mile (about 6000 linear feet) of 1x6 knotty pine VTG, with every butt joint custom routed into a V-grooved lap joint at the client's request.
This was some fun wood work!

It's and we're "beaming" with pride after Phase 1 of this project for one of our favorite return clients. They supplied the post and beam vision and worked with us on the design, Ponders Hollow Custom Wood Flooring & Millwork supplied the custom milled material, L.P. Adams Co., Inc. mill shop fabricated the miter wrap beams, and our talented crew at brought the vision to life on site with the installation and finish.
There is much more to come in Phase 2 for this beautiful home this winter!

Aubrey and Mike's guest bath is complete and it's one of our most stunning projects yet.
The chevron floor tile and one of a kind vanity, combined with the elegant brass and other tasteful finishes give this room an incredibly classy and inviting vibe.
As always, it also helps having such great clients to work with, and makes us especially proud to put our craftsmanship and name on this beautiful space!

Who is Simple Bee?

Hi!👋 I’m Tricia, a mom of 2, born and raised in the Berkshires. I started Simple Bee in January 2020 just before the world turned upside down.

My experience cleaning professionally goes back as far as 2008. Since then, I’ve cleaned professionally on and off, been a paralegal, and an estimator at a few different companies. I found my way back to cleaning because my body needs to MOVE. The cubicle life just isn’t for me!

I decided to start Simple Bee using only nontoxic products, safe for kids, pets, and my own lungs. My husband worked with me for 4 years until he shifted paths. I am now back to cleaning solo and offering pet visits, dog walking, and energy clearing to my offerings.
