Sonoma County, We wanted to give everyone a heads up about preparing for the projected "Super El Nino":

1. Increase atmospheric rivers usually means increased roof leaks! If it's time for a new roof, consider getting that done before the rainy season starts to protect your home from potential water damage.

2. Increased rain followed by hot dry weather means increased combustible fuel for fires. Please keep your "defensible space" cleared to protect your home.

3. If you are in a potential Flood zone (for example, the Petaluma River, Russian River, Santa Rosa Creek, Matanzas Creek, and Laguna de Santa Rosa), please have your emergency plans in place (know your neighbors, review your local evacuation zone, and refresh your emergency go-bags).

We took the past 25 years of PGE rates and projected them forward and then showed the amortized rate that solar costs over the same 25 year period. Looking pretty good right?
