The Denniss Septic Tank Service crew was over at the Arthur Lesow Community Center in Monroe getting some drains cleaned, snaked, and sucked out and making sure everything was flowing the way it should!

They do so much for the City of Monroe and our community, and it’s been awesome seeing all the improvements they’ve made and the great staff they have working there. If you happen to see Nate out at the Monroe County Fair tonight, make sure to wish him a happy birthday!

Like any other day, Nate spent his birthday doing what he enjoys most—working hard and helping customers. The day was filled with emergency septic service calls alongside the Denniss Septic Tank Service crew!

Now it’s time to enjoy the evening by cheering on a couple of derby cars we proudly sponsored at the Monroe County Fair Demolition Derby. We’re hoping he gets to relax a little, enjoy the fair, and maybe even dig into this “crappy” birthday cake!

Today we’d like to take a moment to recognize one of the hardest-working members of our team.

Happy Birthday to our wastewater technician, Blake Tyra

Blake is what we like to call a “glue guy.” He’s the kind of employee every business hopes to have. Whether it’s pumping septic tanks, installing risers, delivering and servicing porta-potties, digging, cleaning, or taking care of the tedious jobs that most people try to avoid, Blake is always willing to step up. He never complains, takes pride in his work, and does whatever it takes to help our customers and our team succeed.

His positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to tackle the jobs behind the scenes don’t go unnoticed. He plays a huge role in keeping Denniss Septic Tank Service, LLC running smoothly every single day, and we’re incredibly thankful to have him on our team.

Happy Friday from all of us at Denniss Septic Tank Service!

Another busy day in the books! Our crew spent the day delivering portable restrooms all across Monroe County for graduation parties, family gatherings, and other special events happening this weekend. We always do our best to get every unit delivered ahead of time so our customers have one less thing to worry about before their events begin.

It was great seeing so many familiar faces, catching up with our customers, and having both septic trucks and the entire crew out making sure everyone is taken care of.

We were also honored to help a local family during a difficult time by donating a couple of septic tank pump-outs after the recent passing of a loved one. We’re grateful we could take care of this one thing for them so they don’t have to worry about it anytime soon!

We kicked off the morning by replacing an aging cast iron inlet line with new PVC for Schultz Sweet Corn farm, then wrapped up the day with a couple of septic inspections, regular septic pump-outs, and assisting our friends over at Wright’s Excavating with a septic tank replacement. It’s always a great feeling helping homeowners while working alongside other local businesses.

🚧 Inlet Line Replacements

One thing we see all the time throughout Monroe County is homeowners assuming a backed-up drain automatically means the leach field has failed. While that can happen, many times the real problem is the inlet line running from the house to the septic tank.

A lot of older homes still have cast iron or clay inlet pipes. Over the years, corrosion, rust, root intrusion, and deterioration can reduce what started as a 4-inch pipe down to only 2 inches—or even less. That restriction slows wastewater flow and can cause recurring backups inside your home.

That’s why we’ve been helping more and more customers replace those aging lines with new PVC pipe. PVC provides better flow, won’t rust, resists root intrusion, and is built to last for decades.

If your home still has a cast iron or clay inlet pipe, now is a great time to consider upgrading before it becomes a bigger problem.
