Crowder Construction, one of the largest site contractors in the Greater Richmond area since 1973, is currently seeking an experienced lowboy driver with experience hauling/loading heavy equipment (excavators, dozers, motorgraders, backhoes etc). Moves are all local between jobsites in the Richmond/Petersburg area. Must have clean driving record and class A license. BRAND NEW 2023 MACK ROAD TRACTOR (automatic transmission).

Job duties:
• Supervise and manage pipe crew members.
• Read plans and have a working knowledge of standards and specifications.
• Able to organize, plan and schedule work.
• Ability to communicate with employees, vendors, inspectors, owners’ reps.
• Utilize heavy equipment to excavate, install and backfill waterline, storm sewer and sanitary sewer.
• Continually inspect work site, surveying for potential hazards or safety concerns.
• Responsible for crew safety. Establish safe work environment that complies with the company safety program.
