Well it's been a little over a month since we closed Baseline and handed it over to I and M. I thought that they would keep me busy a couple of days a week drafting and research, but that's not the case. So I will happily hire out to do Survey drafting, Petersburg, Hopewell, Colonial Heights, and Sussex research.

I know, I know, I retired. Well today ( and more to come) I'll be in there for a while. I've got comments to address in various counties, Job's I've been paid for, and I want to get them wrapped up. Easy day.

My first day of retirement, or I should say Our first day. Mary, me, and of course Jack. We aren't there, we'll be back some after vacation, but Josh & Cecil are there and ready and able to get it done in the same style as Baseline. I might learn to sleep a little later.

Well I should have finished my drafting yesterday, but stuff just kept coming at me. County comments I've waited 5 months for, having to dig into old jobs, an unexpected client revision...sheesh. So I have to finish today, my wife is going on vacation and I want to be there too. Let's go.

Yep, yesterday was my last day in the field. I still have some drafting to finish up, and I hope I get that done by closing tomorrow. This is weird, but vacation is just ahead.

Entering my last week and it get's more stressful each day. It's like this every year as we prepare for our annual vacation, so I won't worry, just roll with it.
