All in a days work: Bret Huntman, North By Nature Owner, on a property where the homeowners opted to convert ALL their turf grass to native plant gardens.

After a decade of the original home landscape installation, they were ready for more to add to Northern Michigan ecosystem-building.

From Bret:
“The brown swath [in the photo] will soon green up with eco-turf grass seed that has 33% deeper roots and is a member of plant groups that release natural chemicals called allelochemicals—such as juglone, phenolic acids, and terpenes—into the environment to stop nearby plants from growing.
Including broadleaf weeds!”
