LATEST NEWS —5/13/26:
We are out actively spraying all the yards! We always do our new customers first, since they have the w**dy properties. If you notice that we were next door and did not spray your property, rest assured we will be back once we have completed the new properties.
Some people are spotting crabgrass? Nope. You are most likely seeing Tall Fescue. Crabgrass is just now germinating and won't be visible to the naked eye for another month or two. (Refer to our last Latest News posting!) Sorry we do not have any tools in our tool box for Tall Fescue. When we get more heat in the ground and the Kentucky Blue Grass gets going, it will become less apparent in your stand of turf.
If you see we just sprayed your yard, please wait until the following day to mow. It is best that the chemical is taken up by the plant to get into its system before you cut it off.
Please note that we cannot spray while it is raining and during extremely windy days. For this round especially, Mother Nature dictates our schedule. We hope to have everyone sprayed by the middle to end of June.
Please do not pull any w**ds! Our spray is a contact killer. If the w**d is removed, it will not be able to get to the root of the w**d.
If you are planting any grass seed, please let us know or please mark the area so we don't injure the new seedlings.
4/15/26:
A few things to note about crabgrass:
Crabgrass does not germinate until the ground temperature reaches 55 degrees for 3 consecutive days, at a depth of 2 inches. We are still in that window and we will have everyone taken care of before we reach that threshold.
In addition, our products will kill crabgrass up until the plant reaches the third leaflet stage. That is what quality products do for your lawn!
If you suspect you have crabgrass in your turf, you are most likely seeing Tall Fescue. Tall Fescue has a wide leaf blade and a deep root system. It grows faster than Kentucky Blue Grass and is very noticeable until the rest of the turf varieties in your lawn start to catch up with the warming ground temperatures.
Mowing will be happening soon. Feel free to mow any time before or after this application. When we apply GRANULAR applications, mowing will not have any effect on the fertilizer. For applications #2 and #4 (broadleaf w**d control SPRAY) please do not mow until the following day. It is best to let the product sink into the roots before mowing.
We will be starting round #2 (the liquid broadleaf w**d spray) in early May. Our new customers always take priority, as their lawns can be very w**dy and need the most immediate attention. Returning customers will see limited w**d activity, but they will eventually start to show up and we will be there to take care of them for you.

Happy Spring!!
We are happy to get started with our 2026 season! To our new customers, please know that the first round will do NOTHING for the existing w**ds in your turf. The first application is a fertilizer with crabgrass control. If you plan to do any seeding this spring, and we have already treated your turf, please wait until June 1st to plant any new grass seed. The product we applied does not differentiate the newly planted grass seed from crabgrass.
With that said, our second round is a broadleaf w**d spray. Because most new customers have a w**d problem, we spray all new customers FIRST. So, you will probably see us again shortly for the second application. After that, the applications will be spread out more.
If your lawn doesn't look great right now - please be patient. The soil temperature is still very cold, even if the air temperature has been warm. It will perk up!
