Shade makes having a great Bermuda lawn difficult. As you can see in the video areas that are getting adequate sunlight of 6-8 hours daily are doing great and the areas without the full sunlight struggle. Zoysia is a great fix for the shaded areas, zoysia can even handle direct sunlight.

The use of Bermuda grass seed is not advised due to the diverse range of types, each possessing distinct color tones and growth patterns. This diversity can lead to visually unappealing results, as demonstrated by the poorly executed installation of two different Bermuda grass types. Sadly, such occurrences are becoming more prevalent. Consequently, areas where Bermuda seeding appears to be a solution warrant further evaluation.
