With the winter storm upon us, please keep an eye on your heat pump. If you notice heavy snow accumulation or freezing rain, it’s a good idea to switch your system to Emergency Heat.

Snow or ice buildup on the outdoor unit—especially on the condenser fan blade—can cause damage or operational issues. Using Emergency Heat during these conditions can help protect your system until the weather improves.
