IMPORTANT NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
The following notice is issued to help protect consumers from individuals who may falsely claim to represent, work for, be affiliated with, or possess inside knowledge of Xpress Lock-Out Service, Jermaine E. Milam, or Jay's Smart Key Shop.
Xpress Lock-Out Service is an independently owned and operated locksmith business. We encourage all customers to verify the identity of any individual claiming to represent our company before providing payment, personal information, vehicle information, keys, access to property, or authorizing locksmith work.
RED FLAGS OF POSSIBLE IMPERSONATION OR FRAUD
Customers should use caution if an individual:
■ Claims they were "sent by Jermaine" but cannot be verified through our main business number at (302) 476-5647.
■ Is not wearing company-branded clothing or otherwise cannot reasonably identify themselves as a representative of Xpress Lock-Out Service.
■ Refuses to provide a business card identifying Xpress Lock-Out Service.
■ Performs work but refuses or fails to provide a written receipt or invoice identifying Xpress Lock-Out Service.
■ Requests payment through personal accounts, alternative payment methods, or channels that cannot be verified with our office.
■ Claims to have special inside information about Jermaine Milam, Xpress Lock-Out Service, pricing, customers, suppliers, competitors, or company operations.
■ States that our company is out of business, unavailable, closed, under investigation, or otherwise unable to perform services without providing verifiable proof.
■ Attempts to discourage customers from contacting our main office to verify pricing, scheduling, technician identity, or service details.
■ Uses pressure tactics such as demanding immediate payment before services are explained, documented, or verified.
■ Claims to be a partner, employee, dispatcher, manager, investigator, representative, contractor, or affiliate of Xpress Lock-Out Service when such status cannot be independently verified.
■ Requests sensitive personal information unrelated to the locksmith service being requested.
■ Uses another person's phone, social media account, or communication device while claiming to represent our company.
CUSTOMER SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
If you believe someone may be falsely representing Xpress Lock-Out Service:
■ Request identification.
■ Request a business card.
■ Ask for verification by text message from our official business number: (302) 476-5647.
■ Photograph the technician, service vehicle, and visible license plate if legally permitted.
■ Save all text messages, invoices, receipts, call logs, emails, and payment records.
■ Document the date, time, location, and nature of the interaction.
■ Do not provide payment until you are comfortable that the service provider is legitimate.
■ Immediately contact Xpress Lock-Out Service at (302) 476-5647 or [email protected] to verify any questionable representation.
■ If you believe fraud, theft, impersonation, or criminal conduct has occurred, contact local law enforcement and provide them with any documentation collected.
