As we wrap up Construction Safety Week, we’re reminded that safety is not just a one-week initiative—it’s an everyday commitment. This week’s focus on Recognize, Respond, and Respect reinforced the importance of identifying hazards, taking action before incidents occur, and looking out for one another.

Today, our team held a safety stand-down at our Starr Insurance project as part of our ongoing commitment to jobsite awareness and open communication throughout the year. At the end of the day, the goal is simple: making sure everyone goes home safe to their families.

We were proud to celebrate the groundbreaking of Vogt Recreation Center last Friday alongside our project partners, city leaders, and community members.

This comprehensive renovation will deliver upgrades to both the building and surrounding site, including a new roof, windows, lighting, security, and modern MEP systems, along with updated interiors and ADA-accessible entrances and restrooms. Site improvements will add new playground equipment, safety surfacing, seating areas, and landscaping to create a more welcoming, functional, and accessible public amenity.

This marks our fourth project with Rebuild Philadelphia, and each one reinforces a shared commitment to investing in spaces that truly serve the community. We are excited to transform Vogt Rec Center together!

Clemens Construction is nearing completion of a full-scale renovation of the Sheraton University City Hotel, a 20-story, 322-room property owned by the University of Pennsylvania. Our team is delivering fully modernized guestrooms and public amenity spaces with all-new finishes, fixtures, and furnishings throughout.

The project also includes major MEP infrastructure upgrades and critical parking garage repairs, enhancing both performance and longevity. Completed within a fully operational hotel environment, this work reflects careful coordination and craftsmanship at every level.
