“We hired Mr. Contractor for a major renovation of our 130-year-old Philadelphia home, including a completely new kitchen and primary bath, and couldn't be happier with the result.
This was not a simple renovation. Once work began and the old kitchen was demo’d, we found that a substantial portion needed to be rebuilt from the foundation up, requiring additional structural work and coordination with our architect and engineer. Indeed, there were plenty of other surprises and challenges along the way.
What impressed us most was how Mr. Contractor and his team responded to those challenges. They kept the project moving at an impressive pace, found practical solutions when unexpected conditions arose, and worked hard right through the end to deliver a finished project that they could be proud of — and that we absolutely love.
The craftsmanship and overall result are wonderful. A friend who is a high-end interior designer recently saw the completed kitchen and remarked that the quality of the construction was apparent and that the attention to detail was particularly impressive. Coming from someone who evaluates this kind of work professionally reinforced what we already felt about the finished product.
Our kitchen has completely changed how we use our home and has become the place where our family naturally gathers. It's beautiful, comfortable and remarkably functional. The new bathroom is equally transformative. A shout-out to Landmark Architects for their help with the design.
No project of this size and complexity is going to go exactly according to plan, and there were details along the way that needed to be revisited or corrected. What mattered to us was that Mr. Contractor took responsibility for getting things right.
We began this renovation knowing it was a significant investment. Having now seen the amount of work involved, the problems that had to be solved, and the quality of the finished result, we feel we received very good value for our money.
Most importantly, Mr. Contractor cared about the finished product and about leaving us happy with it. After ten weeks of having his team in our home, we ended the project knowing that we were all genuinely proud of what had been accomplished.
