VBC’s centre of excellence in Monaghan Ireland marked World Mental Health Day on Oct 10th by hosting Monaghan All-Star Player Rory Beggan alongside John McArdle, Monaghan GAA County Health & Wellbeing Chairperson.

Introduced by Monaghan GAA Chairman, Declan Flanagan, Rory shared his experiences at the top level of his sport and how to achieve success without sacrificing other parts of your life. He also mentioned the importance of colleagues ensuring you remained grounded.

John McArdle finished up the session by sharing the new GAA Health & Wellbeing programme to be officially launched on 24th Oct. He also reminded people of the importance of connecting with each other and talking to others if you are experiencing difficulties and challenges.

Today, National Interns Appreciation Day, we want to shine a spotlight on our Boston Studio interns who bring creativity and fresh perspectives to our team.

“We are providing access and responsibility. I believe in teaching them and [them] messing up,” says Sara Ann Logan, Vice President of Design, as here our interns are working in real world environments, where they can be completely hands on and try new things.
