Everyone appreciates transparency and we pride ourselves with beginning all of our client relationships with facts, honest dialogue and authenticity. It’s shocking for everyone in our industry to see what inflation has done to the cost of renovations. 10 years ago, we could have completed an entire small kitchen renovation for under $40K. In the year 2026, the kitchen renovation costs have increases dramatically. It’s shocking to see how many clients and consumers are completely unaware of current pricing levels for renovation projects. We know how crucial it is to be honest and straightforward when it comes to discussing project budgets and meeting expectations. At Greenprints Design Studio, we discuss renovation costs from day one and we educate our clients through the entire design process. We have clients from all tax brackets, from first time homebuyer to Clients who literally have no budget limitations. No matter who our client is and what their financial goals are, we always educate and share tips on how to save money throughout the project. It’s always our clients choice if they want to spend more and how they want to spend their money. We continuously share our saving tips and budget knowledge throughout the renovation process. It’s spring break and it’s time to finally celebrate the sun, flowers and kitchen season! It’s the season to embrace the time to mingle and entertain with the inception of party season! The majority of our clients have been requesting a wet bars and beverage stations in their kitchen for all of their entertaining needs. The request for more space for storage beverages and countertop space to prep drinks is one of the top requests from many of our clients. The two-tone kitchen finishes are still extremely popular and give more personality and dimension to any kitchen design! Our client in Havertown insisted on any cabinet color other than white and they made an excellent choice of a wood stain, “Broken Straw” and a painted finish, charcoal finish, “Urban Bronze.” We look forward to helping you with your kitchen design entertainment space! We are in our “Design Concept Era” for our Newtown Square Living Room Project. We have already helped our clients renovate the kitchen, designed, draft and renovate an entirely new second floor plan and Master Bathroom and we finally arrived at the Living Room Design! Before we can shop for the furniture, accessories, artwork, window treatments and home decor, we have to start with the design concept phase. After we interview our clients to establish design goals, we draft a furniture floor plan and discuss the end users, purpose of the space, clearances, traffic flow, and create a wish list for the living room. Every design starts out in the design concept phase before we arrive at the fun part of specifying furniture and materials, selecting the paint color and decorating the space! It’s been so rewarding working with one of our favorite families and to see this house transform over the years and to be part of the design transformation! Spring is FINALLY here and so is kitchen design season!!! Our clients are ahead of the curve and they are designing and planning their summer and fall renovation projects now. One of the TOP requests for a majority of our clients is the classic and historic, Butler’s Pantry or a timeless Walk-In Pantry. At Greenprints Design Studio, we LISTEN to our clients and always try to gran them everything on their kitchen wish lists! This Butler’s Pantry gave our clients more space to prep for parties and a tremendous amount of extra storage space in their Bryn Mawr Kitchen. What’s on your wish list! Now is the time to start designing!

We are all sporting our Irish Roots and a little GREEN today ! Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all of our Irish friends, fans and clients! ☘️🇮🇪☘️ The luck of the Irish is still peeking through in the world of design so the many shades of gorgeous green are not gone! Remember, GREEN is found everywhere in nature so you can use it as a neutral or an accent color in your space! In this kitchen, on the Main Line, we used painted GREEN island cabinetry to give the kitchen a little pop of color, yet the overall space feels bright, spacious and timeless design that everyone including our clients wanted.

Every client has their own style and vision for their “Dream Kitchen.” Our clients in West Chester, Pennsylvania achieved a 5 Star “Modern Farmhouse” Design in their “kitchen glow up.” A simple and custom two-tone shiplap hood was constructed to be the focal point of this stunning kitchen renovation. Every design detail including contrasting wood shelves, a modern kitchen faucet and traditional spindle legs on the kitchen island were all carefully selected and they all collectively give the kitchen its own style and personality. As they say, “The devil is in the details.”

It was an absolute pleasure to work with our clients on not only their kitchen renovation, their first floor renovation as well as all four bathroom renovations in their home. Nothing feels like fall and November like the Sherwin Williams color, Urban Bronze. Our Clients wanted to shake it up and they wanted anything but white. They wanted a classic kitchen design that wouldn’t get old and granted their every wish! We mixed it up with Bremtown’s Brokenstraw Linen Glaze and Brighton’s Urban Bronze Painted Finish to add a focal point and an eye catching range hood and it was the perfect combination of vintage and new! This is still one of our favorite cabinet color combinations and projects! You have to trust your designer and your kitchen renovation will be picture perfect too!
