As we continue working in the community we love, I can’t help but feel a little homesick 🤒. Born in West Philly to Haitian immigrant parents, my culture has shaped my values, work ethic, and who I am today. Raised speaking Creole with my grandparents and spending summers in Haiti from 2002–2017, Haiti will always be home to me. I can’t wait to return.

Today we had the opportunity to support by watering 90 hanging flower pots along two miles of Germantown Avenue. With the ongoing drought impacting our entire community, we’re grateful to play a role in helping preserve and enhance the beauty of our neighborhood. We even enjoyed some iced coffee and entertainment from Be sure to get outside, enjoy the beautiful weather, and support the local businesses in your community!

Another day in the neighborhood! Started off with a hedge trimming and mow at The Soldiers monument. Then off to the Space near the Old Germantown YMCA. For our lunch break we went to for a quick workout 🏋️‍♀️! Lastly, we ended the day mowing and cleaning up the campus at the ! Contact us if ya need us!

The instructor will be with music by ! This will be a FREE community event but we need people to register so the teacher will know how to prepare. Haitian cuisine will be provided as well! We would like to extend a sincere thank you to PHS Pennsylvania Horticultural Society for the opportunity to work with two of their program participants over the past two weeks.

We truly appreciate being able to provide hands-on work experience and support community members as they move through and graduate from the program. It was a pleasure having them on our team, and we’re grateful for the time and effort they contributed.
