Has this happened to your garage door and now it hangs,but not like it use to. Maybe its hanging out on the floor? It can still be repaired. The usual suspects are broken springs or the wrong springs. A door that isnt properly balanced can create excessive slack and cables will simply slide off and cause the door to come off track. Your cables need to have tension specially when the door is fully open.
