DS3 Design

DS3 Design DS3 Designs strives to develop the creation of authentic, sensory experiential spaces with a strong narrative and a sense of personality.

Our design firm is a multidisciplinary team that specializes in delivering hospitality and retail spaces. When designing hospitality work, our design is the direct reflection of the team’s passion for food and coffee. Our approach to all our projects involves a creative process where we produce the most creative and redefined spaces all while utilizing innovative design, playful references and out

of the box imagery. DS3 Designs was started in 2014 by David Santos III, who after having over 25 years of experience in design wanted to start his own company. He started practicing design and architecture in Asia working with Taisei Corporation in both Manila and Tokyo. From there, David joining the RMA Ltd. and Fitch working in both Singapore as well as Phoenix. There he worked mostly on designing retail and hospitality spaces. Through his experiences he has gained knowledge in consumer trends and both hospitality as well as retail design. His skills include all aspects of retail, hospitality and restaurant design, where his designs start from the base construction to graphic design.

A great fitness facility has to do more than look good.

For owners and developers, the design should support the entire member experience, from the moment someone walks through the door to how easily they move through the space, use the amenities, and feel while they’re there.

With The GYM AZ, the goal is to create an environment that feels elevated, energetic and welcoming, while still being functional for everyday operations.

Because when the experience feels right, people have another reason to come back.

Let’s design a space that works as hard as your members do.

Designers are creating stronger connections between interior spaces, gardens, daylight, natural materials, and outdoor environments.

Sometimes the most powerful design move isn't adding another feature. It's creating a better connection to what's already outside.

Flexible spaces are becoming more important. Movable elements, adaptable layouts, and multi-purpose areas allow spaces to change throughout the day.

Good restaurant design doesn't design for one moment.

It designs for breakfast, lunch, dinner, events, and everything in between.

What makes a restaurant memorable?

It’s not just the food. It’s how the space makes you feel.

For Chino Mex, we brought two distinct cultures together into one bold, energetic environment—using color, graphics, lighting, and carefully planned details to create a brand experience that feels cohesive from the moment you walk in.

Good restaurant design doesn’t just look good.
It gives the brand a personality.
