Our landscape architecture team recently wrapped up work on the newly refreshed pool amenity at Outbound Sedona (formerly Poco Diablo Resort). We focused on blending functional, high-value outdoor spaces with the natural beauty of Sedona's red rock landscape.

Rejuvenating a community space starts with listening to the people who call it home.

As a consultant for the City of Phoenix, CVL was tasked with the planning and landscape design to revitalize Perry Park, an 8-acre neighborhood hub in central Phoenix.

Through a series of public workshops, safety quickly emerged as the neighborhood's top concern. Our goal was clear: create a active, community-tailored master plan that would increase daily park use, driving "Eyes on the Park" to naturally deter safety issues.

Recognizing a strong local skate culture, Phase 1 prioritized a dedicated skate plaza to build immediate community momentum. That initial success paved the way for subsequent phases, bringing local art installations, expanded picnic areas, and upgraded sport courts to life.

This wasn't just a fundraiser—it was our team coming together to support our community and make a real difference for those who need it most.
